The "favourite" pages were a bit too haphazard for me - a lot of scrolling required, but I guess that's the nature of a "sandbox".
There's a lot of stuff on the web that has novelty value for me at the moment. For example, I followed a "favourite website" link to bookcrossing http://www.bookcrossing.com/home
I've heard about this before but hadn't gotten around to checking it out. It's a great idea and I've signed up (yet another screen name and password to keep track of) but I'm not sure how often I'll log in in practice.

I had about 3 months gap between joining bookcrossings and actually registering a book. It was fun deciding where and when to do it and i felt suprisingly guilty when i saw someone watching me leave my first book (Gleadel street market day). But it was fun and i am checking every now and then to see if a finder has registered it. I now have a small pile of registered books which are waiting for me to stick in the labels i printed off and plan their release.
Go on, you've taken the first step, go for it.
